Treaty Land Entitlement Claims

Under the terms of the numbered treaties, First Nations were to be provided with reserve land in addition to various other benefits. Many First Nations have never been provided with the amount of land promised under Treaty and are now engaged in negotiations with the Crown for additional land to complete their reserve land entitlement.

We provide legal advice to First Nations who are preparing Treaty Land Entitlement claims for submission to the federal Crown and act as negotiators and legal advisors to First Nations whose claims have been accepted for negotiation.
